Hello! My name is Peggy, the face behind Peggy’s Art. Creativity has always been a recurring theme in my life. I first started in fashion, which I later expanded to include makeup and hairstyling. For a short period, I created murals, before soon after (something completely different) discovering the world of birthday and wedding cakes. That experience inspired me to complete the pastry program at the Culinair Academy Nederland (formerly: Culinair Centrum Beverwijk), where I also had the privilege of being taught by top pastry chef Jeroen Goossens. All of this has led me to discover my ultimate combination: Art & Cookies

Recently, I began using my passion for my mission, which comes down to: making a difference in my surroundings. For more information, see The Good Cause. Through the sale of cookies and merchandise, we support foundations such as Overwin de Armoede (Overcome Poverty). Examples include:
• Donating cookies to children living in difficult home situations.
• Collecting items for Christmas hampers for people living below the poverty line.
Faith plays an important role in my life. By combining illustrations with Bible verses, I want to encourage people and bring light where it is needed. That is why Peggy’s Art is a non-profit organization, where all profits are dedicated to our mission. Thanks to all the support, we have been able to distribute thousands of comfort cards with encouraging words and hundreds of cookies. This year, we hope to once again collect as much as possible for the Christmas hamper campaign.
